Catch a glimpse of Ethereal Beauty at these places During Autumn Season!

Clearer sky herald the start of the holiday season in India as the monsoons come to an end. There are many locations to visit in India in September and October because of celebrations like Dusshera and national holidays like Gandhi Jayanti. These are the places in India you should go in the autumn if you want to go on a spiritual retreat, relax in picturesque hill towns, or see native festivals at their best.
  1. Jammu & Kashmir- If there is a paradise, it is penned by Aamir Khusro, who just defined the location that sings the lore of beauty. Jammu & Kashmir is one of the top tourist destinations in India for October since it encompasses the whole range of nature and is regarded as one of the greatest places for family vacations due to its natural beauty. Kashmir unquestionably belongs in paradise, whether it be Leh, the highest desert city in the Himalayas, or the raging Jhelum River, which rises at the base of the Pir Panjal Mountain.
  2. Ziro- Ziro is a little village in the eastern region of Arunachal Pradesh that is ideal for an unusual vacation. Ziro is largely populated by the Apa Tani Tribes and is bordered on all sides by hills with lovely green paddy fields. The monsoon season is finished and winter is just beginning to arrive, making October vacations the ideal time to visit Ziro if you missed the music festival that took place there in September and want to see what all the fuss is about.
  3. Coorg- If you're looking for a time to visit Coorg when the weather is pleasant, autumn is the time to go. Outdoor attractions in Coorg including Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat, and Nagarhole National Park glow even brightly at this time of year. Walking to other well-known city landmarks like Tadiandomal Peak and Honey Valley is also made more pleasant by the warmer weather. For a restorative evening, unwind at some of the best homestays and the surrounding rolling hills!
  4. Hampi- Hampi is unlike any other place on earth. In the 14th century, the city served as the capital of the prosperous Vijayanagara Empire, which attracted traders and travellers from all over the world. The once-dominant metropolis is now in ruins, but its magnetism nevertheless cannot be ignored. Remains of temples, shrines, memorials, baths, and other buildings made of massive rocks are scattered throughout the vast complex. It almost has a hypnotic quality as the ethereal environment has the ability to take you to an entirely different time.
  5. Bandhavgarh National Park- Hardly anything compares to the unending joy of viewing wild animals in their natural setting. Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh is one of the greatest places to visit in India in October because it is home to some unique types of plants and animals. In addition to having a diverse range of wildlife, the park is home to a sizable population of Bengal Tigers. A journey to Bandhavgarh is planned for October.
  6. Kutch- The westernmost region of India, Kutch, shares a border with Pakistan and is one of the strangest places in the country, with a white salt desert and lovely moonlit nights. Bhuj and Kutch are among the few places in India that have practically everything, with deserts, oases, beaches, ancient palaces, delectable food, religious sites, wildlife sanctuaries, etc. all in the same district. On nights with a full moon, Kachch appears even more strange as light filters onto the white salt desert. One of the greatest places to travel in India in October is this area because of its beauty and comfortable climate.
  7. Gokarna- Gokarna is a great place to stay in the fall because of its proximity to Murdeshwar and other beach towns. Gokarna's peace and privacy may be its two biggest draws, but you should leave time in your schedule to see this quaint coastal town. Explore the charming Kudle Beach, which is home to a number of beach shacks, seafood eateries, ice cream parlours, and other businesses. Then, for breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea, arrange a boat cruise around or to the neighbouring Om Beach or go on a trek along the picturesque mountain pathways.
  8. Wayanad- Many people think Wayanad in Kerala is the state's most picturesque location. The area's verdant landscape, which is still unspoiled by tourist influx, offers for an excellent place to unwind and regenerate, far from the hectic city life. You can go on hikes through rice fields and coffee plantations, visit wildlife sanctuaries like the Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary and the historic Edakkal Caves, or you can just relax on the banks of the lovely Pookode Lake by yourself. Chembra Peak, Pakshipathalam, and Banasura Hill have Wayanad's top hiking trails. The verdant terrains of Wayanad look even more pleasant in the autumn after the recent heavy monsoon rains.
  9. Kolkata- In October, the entire city of Kolkata eagerly anticipates the 10-day Durga Puja festival! In October, residents meticulously decorate the city and turn it into a huge display, making Kolkata one of the most popular vacation spots in India. You can practically feel the air being filled with camphor and hear people praising the goddess as you make your way through the narrow passageways of the serpentine bylanes. However, there is a lot more to discover in the city. Kolkata is covered in monuments and structures with historical significance. Trams and drawn rickshaws are still available on city streets, so explore the area and look for them for yourself.
  10. Ranthambore National Park- The Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, one of the biggest and most well-known tiger reserves in the nation, is spread across an area of 392 sq km and is well-known for the gorgeous Bengal Tiger that can be found there. The Ranthambore Fort, which is situated in the area, is whence the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve gets its name. Located in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur district, it is a part of the Project Tiger reserves, which the Indian government established in 1955. Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is a favourite destination for photographers, wildlife enthusiasts, and tourists due to the ancient religious remains that can be found within the forest, as well as the area's abundant biodiversity and artistically deteriorating cenotaphs.
  11. Lakshadweep- Lakshadweep receives the same number of visitors in the autumn as it does in the winter due to its appeal with divers and other entertaining water activities. Although it is a year-round vacation spot, the nice autumn weather makes it a great time to relax, unwind, and enjoy the island's amazing beaches and awesome water sports. Lakshadweep is home to the gorgeous Minicoy Island and Kalpeni, which both provide easy and difficult hikes. It also has beautiful shorelines.
  12. Pushkar- Most frequently, Varanasi comes to mind when you think of a Hindu pilgrimage destination in India. But Pushkar in Rajasthan, which is centred on a sacred lake, is just as beautiful and less crowded. Pushkar formerly had more than 500 temples, but during the rule of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, the majority of them were demolished. The Brahma Temple is the most well-known of the temples that were rebuilt in the 18th century. The Pushkar Camel Fair is held in the fall, making it the ideal time to visit the city. The 200,000 visitors who attend the livestock fair describe it as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Hindus also regard the fall as a significant time for pilgrimage.
  13. Munnar- The month of October is the ideal time to visit Munnar. The weather is perfect for going outside and enjoying outdoor activities like trekking and visiting waterfalls. The rich flora is at its height, and the air is brisk. The sprawling tea estates are still evergreen. You should definitely purchase your tickets to Munnar if you are considering an autumn honeymoon.
  14. Agra- With other UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, Agra offers a glimpse into the architectural history and is home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. Agra is a must-visit for anyone who lives in or travels to India because of the combination of history, architecture, and romance that gives it its special charm.
  15. Andaman & Nicobar Islands- You should visit the Andaman Island as soon as you can since climate change is causing coral bleaching. The reef area between Narcondam Island and North Reef Island is still a beautiful place to go diving and snorkelling. To truly appreciate the marine life in the Andaman, you do not, however, need to be a diver. Relaxation seekers will undoubtedly get what they're looking for while sailing the clear ocean and relaxing on a stunning Havelock Islands beach. Saddle Peak National Park and Mount Harriet National Park are additional places where you may learn more about some of India's unusual wildlife.
