Scuba diving is a water activity that includes breathing air from a tank while submerged, to put it simply. Self Contained Underwater Breathing Equipment is known as Scuba. The majority of scuba divers are amateurs who explore kelp forests, coral reefs, lakes, rivers, quarries, and other underwater landscapes. Additionally, there are others that dive professionally, such as marine biologists and divers for public safety.
You must be able to swim independently and support yourself comfortably in the water. This will be evaluated by your instructor by having you: Swim 200 yards (or 300 yards if you're wearing a mask, fins, and snorkel). You may use whichever swimming strokes you like, and there is no time restriction for this.
Anyone who is at least 10 years old (although there are choices for kids as young as 8 or 10) and has a healthy sense of adventure and physical condition.
No, however there are possible risks, therefore you must receive the right instruction and certification. Before we confirm a dedicated scuba diving tour for you, we may ask about your experience and certification along with a consent form for undertaking this activity on our tour.
Never hide any serious or ongoing medical conditions that you are aware of.
The closest humans can come to experiencing birdlike flight is through paragliding. It is a fun and secure way to enjoy the purest form of flight. You simply spread out a wing on a mountainside or hill, inflate it above your head like a kite, run a few steps, and in an instant you're flying through the air! While in the air, a pilot can use thermals and lifting air currents to maintain and even increase height. A paraglider is quite simple to land. It simply glides down for a very soft touch down back on earth when the pilot leads it into the landing spot.
Worldwide, paragliding is a self-regulatory sport, and it is not governed by the DGCA in India either (Director General Civil Aviation). Thus, there is no requirement for DGCA approval or a NOC.
It is safe to paraglide in India. However, being an adventure activity it is never risk free. Wearing the necessary safety gear is important, so make sure you check your harness, reserve a parachute, and wear a helmet.
Be calm and don't panic. Avoid eating large meals just before a paragliding session. Do pay attention to your teacher and obey them. Do not delay, and remember that everything is new at first.
Paragliding is thought to have originated in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is thought that Bir-Billing village in Himachal Pradesh's Palampur district is the safest place to paraglide.
No, but there are potential risks, therefore before going on a scuba diving vacation, you need to have the right training or certification.
Never drink and dive because drunkenness can put a diver in danger. One of them is the inability to exercise common sense and make logical decisions, particularly when it comes to safety.
You should wait at least two hours after eating before doing your dive, so avoid eating a heavy meal before going diving. You run the risk of being in a perilous scenario if you dive while full. Not only does this increase your risk of getting cramps, but it also increases the likelihood that you'll throw up in your mouth, which makes it difficult to breathe.
Never hide any serious or ongoing medical conditions that you are aware of.
The majority of aquatic species are timid or gentle. Some of them do bite or sting, but you may prevent this by keeping your distance. Shark attacks are uncommon because divers are not sharks' natural prey. Actually, a lot of scuba divers look for shark encounters.
Each student diver, qualified assistant, and instructor for all training dives must have:
- snorkel, mask, and fins
- buoyancy control device (BCD), compressed gas cylinder, valve, low pressure inflator regulator, alternative air source, submersible pressure gauge, depth gauge, weight system, and weights
- proper exposure protection that is suitable for the diving circumstances in your area
- a minimum of one audible surface emergency signalling device (whistle, air horn, etc.)
- A timing device, compass, knife or diver's tool, and two surface signalling devices—one audible (such as a whistle, air horn, etc.) and one visible—must also be carried by trainees throughout all open water training dives (inflatable surface tube, flare, signal mirror, etc.)
They are available at the equipment stores nearby for purchase or rental.
