Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Cochin –Kumarakom

Arrival at the airport in Cochin,and drive to Kumarakom. Check-in at your pre booked backwater resort. After freshen up , proceed to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, It is best to visit on foot by one and half kilometres on walking trek, where you are likely to spot heron, darters, water duck, waterfowl, owl, cuckoo and Siberian crane.

Day 2

Kumarakom Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, visit the backwater cruise on the placid waters of Lake Vembanad. Explore the Kettuvallaum which is a traditional houseboat. Later visit the surrounding coconut grooves along with the beautiful locations.

Day 3

Kumarakom–Alleppey

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Check in at your pre-booked houseboat on arrival at Alleppey. Rest of the day is free at leisure. While cruising on the backwaters, enjoy the amazing view of paddy fields, coconut grooves and traditional village along with that you may also spot some beautiful birds.
