Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Khajuraho (By flight)

Eastern and Western Group of temples. A Traditional Welcome by our Tour Representative on your arrival at Khajuraho Airport followed with a check-in to your pre-reserved Hotel. Khajuraho (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is one of the most visiting places in Madhya Pradesh. Khajuraho is famous for its unique erotic Sculptures and Architecture which are beautifully carved on the Temples walls. After freshen-up, proceed for Khajuraho Tour to see the popular attractions such as Eastern and Western Group of Temples. The obsession and craving is depicted through the most courageous manner in the form of engraved sculptures on these Temples. On your visit at Khajuraho Temples you will realize that only around twenty percent of the total images are erotic sculptured images and rest of the images are of Hindu deities and nymphs. Khajuraho fascinates numerous travelers across the Globe and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Khajuraho temples dates back to the 10th and 11th centuries and were built during the Chandelas Rajput Dynasty. Originally it was a group of 85 temples however now only 22 Temples stands securely. In the evening enjoy the light and musical show organized at the Temples which will take you back in the time of Chandelas Dynasty and the associated myths with the Khajuraho Temples. Day 2

Khajuraho sightseeing

Jain temples, Raneh Falls After Breakfast, proceed for Khajuraho Sightseeing tour to see other popular places such as Jain Group of Temples and Raneh Falls. The Jain temple complex was recently developed, with a small museum displaying Jain images. The temple complex comprises of a hostel for visiting devotees and Shantinath temple that is in worship. This temple is a group of the remains, pillars and images which are salvaged from the older temples. In the centre of the Temple there is a tall image of God Adinath. After Jain Temples, proceed to Raneh Falls which is located around 20 Kms from Khajuraho. The huge sandstone rocks along the Ken River makes Raneh Falls an ideal picnic spot and offers a mesmerizing view of the falls. For those who love bird watching can experience waterfowl in their natural habitation at this place. At the end of the Tour, return to your Hotel and relax.

Day 3

Khajuraho – Jhansi (Distance Approx 175 Kms)

Jhansi Fort, Government Museum, Maharaja Gangadhar Rao Ki Chatri (Cenotaphs) Check-out from the Hotel after an early breakfast and proceed to Jhansi which is another historic city famous for the legendary freedom fighter, Rani Laxmibai who participated in the 1857 mutiny. Jhansi was once the capital of the princely state of Jhansi ruled by Marathas and one of the important cities of Bundelkhand region. Upon your arrival at Jhansi, check-in at your pre-reserved Hotel and relax. After freshen-up proceed for Jhansi sightseeing tour to see the popular places such as Jhansi Fort, Government Museum, Maharaja Gangadhar Rao Ki Chatri (Cenotaphs). Jhansi Fort is located on a top of the hill and was a seat of Chandelas Kings. Rani Mahal (the living area of Rani Laxmibai) is also located inside the fort which is now an archeological museum and contains several paintings, artillery, manuscripts and many figures and statuettes associated with Chandelas and Guptas Dynasties. Later visit to the Cenotaphs of Maharaja Gangadhar who was the Maratha King and ruled Jhansi in 19th Century. These cenotaphs were built by Rani Laxmibai for her husband in 1853. Day 4

Jhansi – Oorcha (Excursion Tour)

Oorcha Fort, Chaturbhuj Temple, Cenotaphs, Laxminarayan Temple, Dinman Hardaul Palace After Breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Oorcha . Oorcha is a small picturesque village adorned with small hills and lush greenery was once the capital of Bundela Rajput kings. The place represents the past almost at each and every corner of the village. The monuments of Oorcha have been properly retained and explain the history of its rich past. Oorcha is a beautiful ancient land which has witnessed many battles. On arrival at Oorcha visit the popular places such as Oorcha Fort, Chaturbhuj Temple, Cenotaphs, Laxminarayan Temple and Dinman Hardaul Palace. Day 5

Jhansi – Gwalior (Distance Approx 100 Kms)

Gwalior Fort, Chaturbhuj Mandir, Man Singh Palace, Sun Temple (Surya Mandir), Teli ka Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace Check-out from the Hotel after your breakfast and proceed to Gwalior which bears a strong historical legacy. Gwalior is amongst the best historical cities of India and is associated with many important historical events. Gwalior is famous for both, the artistic skills and the bravery. The magnificent monuments of Gwalior are an evidence of the people interest in arts and architecture and the history of Gwalior is a strong evidence of their valor. Upon your arrival at Gwalior, check-in at your pre-reserved Hotel and relax. After freshen-up, proceed for Gwalior sightseeing tour to see the popular places such as Gwalior Fort, Chaturbhuj Mandir, Man Singh Palace, Sun Temple (Surya Mandir), Teli ka Mandir and Jai Vilas Palace.
