Itinerary

Day 1

Trivandrum – Kovalam

Arrival at the Trivandrum airport and drive to Kovalam. Check in at the pre booked resort on arrival at Kovalam. After freshen up, you have the choice to explore the beautiful beaches the town such as Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach, apart from this you may also enjoy the water sports activity such as kayaking, skiing swimming, you may also take relaxing Ayurvedic massage as well.

Day 2

Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

Today after breakfast, go for an excursion tour of Trivandrum. visiting the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, Art Museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Evening return to Kovalam.

Day 3

Kovalam – Alleppey

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Check in at the pre booked resort on arrival at Alleppey. The rest of the day is free at leisure. You can explore the beautiful surroundings of the backwater.

Day 4

Alleppey – Kumarakom

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kettuvallam to Kumarakom to board the houseboat. Enjoy the beautiful serene surroundings while cruising on houseboat. View the beautiful sunset.

Day 5

Kumarakom – Periyar – Kumarakom – Periyar

Today after breakfast check out from the houseboatl and drive to Periyar to go to Periyar National Park which renowned tiger and elephant reserve which is located at Idukki districts and Pathanamthitta in Kerala. Check into a jungle lodge. In the evening, enjoy bird watching while boat riding on the Periyar Lake where you can spot both resident and migratory birds.

Day 6

Periyar – Munnar

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Munnar, Check in at the hotel on arrival at Munnar. Rest day is free at leisure, you may take leisure walk around the breath-taking surroundings of the town.

Day 7

In Munnar

Today after breakfast visit Christ Church which was established in 1910 by the British, visit Eravikulam National Park which is the home of Nilgiri Tahr apart from this is also vast flora and fauna. Then explore Mattupetty Dam. It is located at the distance of 13 kilometres away from Munnar.

Day 8

Munnar – Kumarakom

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kumrakom. Check-in at pre booked backwater resort. Later visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, protected by a thick cluster of mangroves, the bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres and home to over 180 species of birds. You may also take some adventure activities like water skiing and windsailing.

Day 9

Kumarakom

Today after breakfast, visit the churches and nearby villages. The afternoon is free at leisure. In the evening, explore the famous Kottayam Thirunnakara Temple to see the festival preparations. The temple is located in the heart of the city and it is dedicated to Lord Shiva, this festival takes place in the month of March-April.

Day 10

Kumarakom – Vaikom – Thrissur

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thrissur. It is known as Kerala’s culture capital, full of academics of literature and arts, is a town content with past.On the way, enjoy a boat cruise at Vaikom and explore the lifestyle of locals in Kerala. You can see and learn the local art such as pottery, khadi weaving and extraction of coconut oil. Enjoy traditional Kerala lunch served on a banana leaf. After lunch drive to Thrissur. Check into the pre booked hotel on arrival at Thrissur.

Day 11

Thrissur

Today after breakfast, go to visit Arattupuzha Pooram at Arattupuzha temple. It is the most colourful and spectacular temple festival in Kerala.A total of 61 elephants partake in this event.

Day 12

Thrissur – Cochin

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Cochin.En route visit Palayoor and Kadakallu (umbrella aristocratic households). Check in at your pre-booked hotel on arrival at Cochin. Rest of the day is free at leisure. In the evening, enjoy the Kathakali dance performance.

Day 13

Cochin

Today after breakfast,visit Bolgatty Palace, Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese fishing nets and spice market. Return to the hotel after sightseeing.

Day 14

Cochin

Today after breakfast,the rest day is free at leisure. You can explore the city at own or do some shopping. Overnight at hotel.
