Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Mumbai (By flight)

Day is reserved for Leisure A Traditional Welcome by our Tour Representative on your arrival at Mumbai Airport followed with a check-in to your pre-reserved Hotel. Mumbai is a cosmopolitan metro and is the largest city in India and serves as a capital of Maharashtra state and commercial capital of India. Mumbai is one of the most populous cities of India and is also ranked on eighth position for most populous cities of the world. Mumbai is also famous for Indian Film Industry which is Bollywood and also famous for its nightlife. Mumbai’s nature is most eclectic and cosmopolitan as it is a home to people from various parts of India. Check-in at your room and relax after a long flight. Day is kept free for leisure. You may choose to explore the surrounding places in the evening.

Day 2

Mumbai Sightseeing

Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery , Siddhivinayak Temple, Dhobi Ghat, Haji Ali Dargah, Mahalaxmi Temple, Juhu Beach, Marine Drive After breakfast, proceed for Mumbai sightseeing tour to see the popular places such as Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Siddhivinayak Temple, Dhobi Ghat, Haji Ali Dargah, Mahalaxmi Temple, Juhu Beach and Marine Drive. At the end of the tour, back to your Hotel and relax.

Day 3

Mumbai – Elephanta Caves (Excursion tour)

Gateway of India, Elephanta Caves After breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Elephanta Caves which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The architecture structure of the caves dates back to 5th to 8th Century. Elephanta caves are one of the most popular tourist attractions located on an island in the suburbs of Mumbai and is to be reached by a Ferryboat. Enjoy the excursion to its fullest. At the end of the tour, back to your Hotel and relax.

Day 4

Mumbai – Matheran (Approx 90kms)

Alexander Point, One Tree Hill Point, Pisharnath Mahadev Mandir, Panorama Point / Sunset Point, Irshalgad, Charlotte Lake and Mount Berry Check-out from the Hotel after your breakfast and proceed to Matheran which is India’s smallest Hill Station in the Raigad district in the state of Maharashtra. Matheran is located on the Western Ghats range at an elevation of around 2620 feet above sea level. Due to its close proximity with Mumbai and Pune, it has become a popular weekend getaway for urban natives. Matheran is an eco-sensitive region and offers spectacular views of surrounding hills and valley. It is Asia's only automobile-free hill station. No private automobiles are allowed in Matheran. Within Matheran transport facilities available are horses and hand-pulled rickshaws. Likewise other Hill Station of India, Matheran was also discovered by Britishers in the year 1850. Upon your arrival in Matheran, check-in at your pre-reserved Hotel and relax. After freshen-up proceed for Matheran sightseeing to see the popular places such as Alexander Point, One Tree Hill Point, Pisharnath Mahadev Mandir, Panorama Point / Sunset Point, Irshalgad, Charlotte Lake and Mount Berry. At the end of the tour, back to your Hotel and relax.

Day 5

Matheran

Day is free for Leisure After breakfast, day is kept free for Leisure. You may choose to relax in the Hotel and enjoy the cool climate of Matheran or may explore the surrounding places. The best way to explore Matheran is to walk or ride a horse to the view points. There are beautiful views of the plains, lakes and mountains around. You may choose to follow a jungle trail to get closer to the nature.

Day 6

Matheran – Aurangabad (Approx 340kms)

Day is reserved for Travelling Check-out from the Hotel after your breakfast and proceed to Aurangabad which is a beautiful City of Gates and a hub of arts and culture. The city has gotten its name from the Prince Aurangzeb. When Aurangzeb was chosen as a Viceroy of the Deccan for the second time, he made this city as his capital and named it Aurangabad. Upon your arrival at Aurangabad, check-in at your pre-reserved Hotel and relax.
