Spiti Valley is a moon land with plenty to offer. The Spiti Valley is a desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayan ranges in the north-eastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Spiti Valley Trek starting from Kunzum La and ending at Kaza stretches for a span of 6 days and can experience in depth the life and lifestyle of the people of this valley. This Tour gives you an opportunity to experience the beauty of the Himalayas with astonishing Nature and is being crafted in such a way that a traveler should experience the legacy of cultural richness and the scenic beauty of the Himalayas in India so that his travelling to India should not only be a journey for him but an experience in itself.

Itinerary

Day 1

Drive along Beas River up to Rohtang Pass

The Drive to Rohtang Pass from Manali the source of the Beas river and desend down to Gramphu. From here on ward the dirt road follows the Chandra river upstream up to Batal, from here road ascend to Kunzum La(4550M)- The gateway to Spiti valley. Overnight in the Camp.

Day 2

Kunzum La to Gette- the highest Village in the world

Today trek to Gette enroute visiting the Tashigang Monastery, Ki –Monastery & and then drive to Langza. Overnight in the Camp.

Day 3

Langza to Demul through Komic Village.

Today trek from Langza to Demul. On the way one can spend some time here with the Dokpas(shepherds) tending the milch cattle and putting together butter for the long winter months. Overnight in the Camp.

Day 4

Demul to Lallnug Monastery

Today trek from Demul to Lallnug. The village houses a small but somewhat unique Monastery which is distinct for it’s heavily carved wooden penal as for its seclusion. Overnight in the camp.

Day 5

Lallung to Dhankar Monastery & drive to Kaza / Rangrik

Today trek from Lallung to Dhankar. It is a more or less level walk, winding around dry, south facing slopes with the wide valley. Dhankar is the traditional capital of spiti is a big village. The Gompa is perched on the top of a cliff. After visiting the Gompa Drive to Kaza the campsite. Overnight in camp.
