Introduction

Porbandar, renowned as Mahatma Gandhi's homeland, is a stunning beach town with several temples and dams and is now a famous port city as well. A tourist destination which modestly offers a number of attractions is the ancient port city with a significant event in its history. The Madhavrai Fair is held along the coast at Madhavpur near Porbandar in the month of Chaitra (March/April) to this day.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Rajkot-Porbandar (Approximately 180 kms.) (By Private vehicle)

Porbandar Bird Sanctuary Dive to Porbandar and get checked into your hotel. After freshening up, head out to visit the Porbandar Bird Sanctuary. Witness the natural heritage up close and spot the several species of birds. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Porbandar.

Day 2

Local Sightseeing & departure

Sudama Temple, Kirti Mandir, Shree Hari Temple and Raj Mahal. This morning after breakfast, visit the Sudama Temple, Kirti Mandir, Shree Hari Temple and Raj Mahal. Thereafter, drive back to Rajkot.
