Baijnath Temple Complex which is located in the town of Baijnath in Uttarakand is a group of 18 Hindu temples along the banks of Gomati River at an elevation of 1,125 m (3,691 ft) above the main sea level. These temples are famous for the depiction of Parvati with her husband Shiva. Lot of devotees of lord Shiva visit these temple complexes during the occasion of Shivratri and Makar Sankranti. There are 102 stone images, some of which are under worship, while others are taken care by the Archaeological Survey of India. The principle deities at baijnath temple complex are the Shiva, Parvati, Ganpati, Kartikeya,Vaidya,Brahma, Durga, Sapta Nartika, Surya, Garuda and Kubera.
