Charminar the square structure has four pillars through which it derived its name was built by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah in the year of 1591 in the city of Hyderabad and is one of the finest and beautiful attractions of the Tech City Hyderabad. The very name of Hyderabad associates Charminar with it. This structure of granite, lime, mortar or pulverised marble tells us about the glory and the rich cultural heritage of the Hyderabad city. You can’t imagine Hyderabad without Charminar- it has become an integral part of the city. One can see the great architectural work of that period. The dome of the Charminar is equally striking.
