About:
Deeg Palace is located around 37 km away from Bharatpur city of Rajasthan and was built by Raja Suraj Mal in 1772 as a summer resort of Bharatpur Kings. It is a perfect combination of Rajput and Mughal architecture and the idea has been taken from the Mughal Charbagh. It is built in a quadrangle shape and in between there is garden and walkaways. Decorative flowerbeds, shrubs, trees and fountains cool the place considerably during summer. It is one of the famous tourist destination in Bharatpur.
