About:
Murshidabad's Hazarduari Palace which is spread over an area of 41 acre is a masterpiece situated on the banks of River Bhagirathi within an enclosure called the Kila Nizamat and is famous for its grandeur. It is a major tourist attraction which attract tourist from all over the world. As the name suggest Hazarduari it means the palace have thousand doors out which 900 are real and rest are false to confuse the enemy. It is built with a combination of Italian and Greek architectural styles and is a great example of Murshidabad's rich cultural heritage.
Around the palace one can also see the Nizamat Imambara, Wasif Manzil, Bacchawali Tope and the Murshidabad Clock Tower.
Now the palace has been converted to a museum which displays Siraj-ud-Daula's prized swords to the vintage cars owned by the Nawabs.
