Jageshwar Temples are situated in Almora district of Uttaranchal which is a group of around 100 Hindu temples built in between 7th and 12th century and is also known as Jageshwar valley temples. There are around 124 temples that and some of the main temples are the Dandeshwar Temple, Jageshwar Temple, Surya Temple, Kuber Temple, Chandi ka Temple, Mritunjaya Temple, Nanda Devi Temple and the Kuber Temple out of which the Dandeshwar Temple being the biggest and Mritunjaya Temple being the oldest standing temple over here. Monsoon Festival celebrated in Agust and Shivarathri Mela which is held in the spring season are the two major festivals of this place.
