About:
The Kumbhalgarh Fort is situated in Kumbhalgarh in Rajasthan which is also the birth place of the famous Rajput King Maharana Pratap. This fort was built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century and has a great historical importance as the fort has the second largest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China and is 3600 ft tall and 38km long that surrounds the area of Udaipur and is also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan. It is located strategically on the western Aravalli hills. The fort has many Hindu and Jain temples within its complex and the famous Lakhola Tank which was constructed by Rana Lakha. A large number of tourists from all the parts of the world and India come to visit this famous historical monument.
