About:
The Safdarjung Tomb was built by Nawab Shujaud Daula in 18th century as Safadarjaung’s mausoleum also referred to as 'Safdarjung Ka Maqbara' in New Delhi, India, and is made of marble and sandstone. Safdarjung was Wazir ul-Hindustan (Prime Minister of India) during the reign of Ahmad Shah Bahadur. This mausoleum is the last monumental garden tomb depicting Mughal architectural style. It is located between the Safdarjung Road and Aurobindo Marg (Road) in New Delhi near Safdarjung Airport, and attracts a large number of Indian and foreign tourists from all over the world visiting the capital city of India.
